Show-Case Productions is a newly formed, Chicago, IL. based, Independent MOVIE Production Company. Show-Case Productions was created to offer a platform for up-and-coming writers, actors, and technicians to showcase their talents in the rapidly expanding Independent Production Market. We explore, create, and then transcend boundaries by offering entertainment via the exciting, and potentially lucrative, area of Digital Media.
Our feature, Severed Ties, has been labeled a tour dforce in independent digital filmmaking. The movie tracks the 36 hours of four African Americans lives after one of them commits murder to satisfy his sado/masochistic fetish. At its heart, the movie is a morality play that examines the question, Have we become obsessed with sex and violence?
The movie features a soundtrack with some of Chicagos hottest artists and is scored by Shawn Wallace of Qi Music Group.
